Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to making ZakiBrain usable for all professionals and visitors.

Last updated: January 2026

ZakiBrain is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to our marketing site and assessment platform.

1. Our Commitment

We believe assessment tools and educational resources should be accessible to the professionals who serve diverse learners. We work to remove barriers on our website and within the ZakiBrain platform wherever reasonably possible.

2. Conformance Status

We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Our marketing site and platform are partially conformant — meaning some parts of the content may not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

3. Accessibility Features

We implement and continue to improve features such as:

  • Semantic HTML structure and descriptive headings for screen readers.
  • Keyboard navigable menus, forms, and interactive controls on the marketing site.
  • Sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements.
  • Responsive layouts that adapt to different screen sizes and zoom levels.
  • RTL (right-to-left) support for Arabic content across the site.
  • Alternative text for meaningful images and decorative elements marked appropriately.

4. Assessment Platform Considerations

The BALLS assessment platform includes specialized interactive tasks designed for young children and administered by professionals. Some assessment activities rely on visual, auditory, or motor interactions that may not be suitable for all users. Professional judgment is required when selecting and administering tasks for individual children.

5. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:

  • Some third-party embedded content may not meet our accessibility standards.
  • Older PDF reports may not be fully tagged for screen readers.
  • Certain interactive assessment components are optimized for clinical administration rather than general web browsing.

6. Compatibility

Our marketing site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We recommend keeping your browser and assistive technologies up to date for the best experience.

7. Feedback & Assistance

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of ZakiBrain. If you encounter accessibility barriers on our website or platform, please let us know:

We try to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days and to propose a solution within 15 business days where possible.

8. Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review our site and platform regularly, conduct periodic audits, and prioritize fixes based on impact and user feedback.
